TEP Board Member
Shelly Gupta brings over two decades of experience in finance, strategy, and operations, with a deep passion for building strong, mission-driven organizations. She is the Chief Financial Officer at Menlo School in California, responsible for overseeing the school’s financial strategy, operations, and administration.
Previously, Shelly spent 16 years at The Equity Project (TEP) Charter School as a founding leader, serving as Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Management Committee. During her tenure, she guided the school from its early days through a period of growth, shaping its financial systems, operations, and long-term strategy.
Her career spans both the private and nonprofit sectors, including leadership roles at Standard & Poor’s, Sapient, and Teleperformance, where she served as a Board Member. She remains deeply connected to TEP’s mission, now serving as a member of its Board of Trustees.
