TEP’s unique Social Work model designates one Social Worker to support students, families, and teachers for one specific cohort (or grade). Social Workers then move up with students and families throughout their journey at TEP until they graduate!
Our Social Work team designs and implements (proactive and preventative) programs that promote social and emotional health, respond to day-to-day student needs, and foster a positive culture. TEP is committed to building a culture which motivates students to succeed, through a relational approach. As such, TEP does not suspend or expel students from school. Social Workers and Teachers play an integral role in the school culture by building relationships with students and families.
