Featured above is an innovative digital donor wall, recognizing the generous contributions made towards the construction of TEP’s new middle school building located at 153 Sherman Ave in Upper Manhattan.

TEP is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 and accepts tax deductible contributions. In contrast to most charter schools, TEP does NOT solicit donations for general operating expenses. This is because a central feature of TEP’s mission is to demonstrate that schools can make a radical investment in teacher equity by reallocating existing public funding. TEP accepts donations for two distinct areas: Alumni Program & Capital Projects.

Alumni Program

TEP’s Alumni Engagement Program currently supports 1,000+ alumni, aiming to build a network that efficiently connects alumni to necessary supports, enrichment opportunities, and the greater community. Learn more about TEP Alumni here.

Capital Projects

Unlike traditional public schools that receive a free public facility, New York State charter schools typically must pay for their own.  Make a contribution today to support capital costs associated with TEP’s new state-of-the-art middle school facility.
