TEP aims to develop our students in the 3 A‘s — Academics, Arts, & Athletics — through a rich, deep, and rigorous curriculum. This means development in the following three areas:
Academics
Students develop core literacy, language, and math skills, which are integrated into all academic content areas. TEP middle school students take daily classes in ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
Arts
Students develop artistic discipline and competency by studying music theory and performing music in a variety of ensembles. Students take music class every day at every grade level. Students also participate in a variety of selective arts groups including visual arts and dance.
Athletics
Students develop physical movement and athletic skills designed to promote health and wellness, and the lifelong enjoyment of physical activity. Students take PE classes every day at every grade level. Students also participate in over a dozen interscholastic sports teams.
